Practice Makes Perfect #2

The weather has turned nice, so I'm getting out on the unis, both my 20" street and 24" MUni. I'm just starting out, with riding and turning down. Here's what I've been working on:

Street: I've been paying attention to putting my weight on the saddle rather than the pedals, which needlessly tire my legs out and makes riding more nervous. I've been practicing static freemounts, which I can get most of the time. Hopping is easy enough once I get started, but pedaling into and out of them is difficult..

MUni: I've taken my first few rides, including the Cariggi Trail loop that will be my regular workout that I'd like to conquer this summer. My first ride arround the track was a walk and ride. The biggest problem is endurance, caused by being out of shape and putting too much weight on the pedals instead of the saddle. I was able to static freemount some times, but often had to walk to the next tree. I was able to ride pretty well through the rutted tractor roads and managed to navigate or roll over most of the rocks. I don't think it'll be too long before I can wizz through this trail and try some more difficult stuff.
