Qu-Ax Unicycle Backpack Review

Looking for an easier way to carry my uni on my scooter, I came across the Qu-Ax backpack. I ordered one from Jokelart for my 20" uni, and also ordered the 24" version along with my Nimbus MUni from UDC.

Practice Makes Perfect #3

I've been putting in a lot of saddle time this week, and it's paid off both on street and MUni. Most of my riding has been offroad, which has been lots of fun. Overall, I'm getting more comfortable riding, my balance is improving as well as my endurance.

MUni- why ride a unicycle offroad?

What would drive anyone to ride a unicycle offroad? Are you nuts?!?

Practice Makes Perfect #2

The weather has turned nice, so I'm getting out on the unis, both my 20" street and 24" MUni. I'm just starting out, with riding and turning down. Here's what I've been working on:

Practice Makes Perfect #1

I've found that the only way for me to learn to do anything is to practice. Now that I've got the basics of riding and turning, it's time to keep that saddle warm by adding new skills and work on doing things gracefully.

MUni First Ride

Off we go!

I've been learning to ride on my 20" street unicycle for the past few months, and now it's time to bust out on the trails with my 24" Nimbus MUni! I'll be riding easy trails near my home, as I learn the basic skills I need to confidently assault the extreme offroad in the nearby Italian Alps.

Cariggi Trail, Brianza, Italy

The Cariggi Trail is an easy trail right outside of my door. It rambles through the Northern Italian countryside through fields and over creeks. Right in the background are the Italian and Swiss Alps, just a stone throw away! Click on the picture to go to the photo gallery that I will keep adding to over time.

Nimbus 24" Steel MUni

Nimbus "4 Muni
Nimbus 24" MUni
My offroad unicycle is a 24" Nimbus MUni. It's a high quality MUni built to take the roughest trails I can throw at it. Comparing it to a mountain bike, it's about the same level as a good quality Deore equipped MTB, meaning it's got all good quality, durable parts that won't hold me back and are also compatible with any upgrades I might want to make. I've been riding my 20" street unicycle for a few months now, and this is my first offroad MUni. Here's my first impression:
