It didn't come easy. It was very frustrating for her, she didn't get it right away like skating, and took a lot of patience and persistence from the both of us. First, it was riding holding my hand, then it was letting go, and making 1 pedal stroke, then 3, then 5, then 2... Over the course of a long weekend, we pushed through her limits, and she now flies around like the crazy monkey she is!

Monkey Earns Her Wheel
After a number of fits and starts over the last year, my daughter finally put her shoulder to the grindstone and learned to ride her unicycle1
It didn't come easy. It was very frustrating for her, she didn't get it right away like skating, and took a lot of patience and persistence from the both of us. First, it was riding holding my hand, then it was letting go, and making 1 pedal stroke, then 3, then 5, then 2...
